Plans faster than 100 Mbit/s - by arrangement
Before connecting such a plan, we make sure your router is not an antique and check the port. If needed, we replace the port and run a new line to your apartment; a new cable costs up to 2,300 RUB. This way you get the speed you pay for instead of hitting the limits of old equipment.

What affects your speed and which plans are available in your building
Your Internet speed is set by the narrowest point on the way from our network to your device. That is why one building can already get faster plans for the same price, while the one next door cannot yet.
What the chain is made of
The line to the building.
Most often it is fiber, which carries any of our plans.
The switch in your entrance or on your floor.
Its ports run at 1000 or 100 Mbit/s; we are gradually replacing the slower models.
The cable to your apartment.
A standard 4-pair cable carries a gigabit, while a 2-pair wire, found in some buildings, carries no more than a hundred megabits.
Your router.
If its ports are rated at 100 Mbit/s, it will not go faster, whatever the line.
Wi-Fi.
A wireless connection is almost always slower than a wired one, especially at 2.4 GHz, through walls and far from the access point.
Why the speed can suddenly drop to 100 Mbit/s
Sometimes all the equipment is gigabit, but one wire in a cable or connector loses contact, and the port switches to 100 Mbit/s by itself. If a speed test shows about 90-95 although your plan is faster, connect a computer with a cable, test again on our speed page and call us: we will check the port and find the cause.

Upgrades
We are gradually replacing equipment and cables. When faster plans become possible in your building, they will appear in the customer area, and we will let you know.

Plans for companies and sole proprietors
For companies and sole proprietors we prepare a commercial offer for your task: speed, addresses, connection method and timing.
Plans up to 1 Gbit/s, the same in Khabarovsk and the EAO, from 1,600 RUB per month depending on speed. Up to a 10 Gbit/s port on request.

Translation for convenience. The Russian text of these terms prevails.
- Equipment needed to use the services (a router or a customer modem, depending on the technology) is purchased separately, as agreed with us.
- Services are provided where technically possible.
- Prices are in rubles and are not subject to VAT.
- Internet access speed depends not only on the service itself but also on third parties, organizations and persons that manage (or affect) parts of the Internet not owned by "Scan-City" LLC. Internet speed is not a fixed value: it depends on the connection, the route and current load of the channels, your equipment (computer, smartphone, Wi-Fi router), software versions or standards used, and where the requested content is located. All these parameters vary and are not guaranteed by "Scan-City" LLC outside its own network. The speed stated in a plan is the maximum possible speed.
- The monthly Internet fee is charged to your account once a month, on the 1st. In the first month, the fee is calculated in proportion to the number of days from the start of service to the end of the month.
- The connection fee is stated under the "Free connection" promotion. The base fee for connecting to the Internet over FTTx in apartment buildings is 2 300 rubles. Under the "Free connection" promotion the customer gets a 2 300 ruble discount on the base fee. If the contract is terminated within 6 months of signing, the discount is cancelled, and the operator may ask the customer to pay the difference between the base connection fee and the promotional fee. While services are suspended for lack of funds (clause 3.4 of the Rules), the 6-month period is paused and resumes afterwards. Promotion terms are part of the contract (clause 8.10 of the Rules). The discount is kept if the customer moves (the connection is transferred to a new address).

Since the 2020 pandemic we have had no walk-in office, and it works well: you do not need to go anywhere or wait in line. We sort everything out by phone, in messengers and on site, when our technician comes to you.
We do own non-residential premises - if an office is ever needed, we will open it.
